Investigation Of Chinese Mechanics Specialty Under The Background Of Faculty Adjustment In 1952

As the representative of science and technology,mechanics plays a decisive role in the development of national economy.It is not only a supplement to the history of the discipline,but also brings some beneficial enlightenment for today's discipline construction,discipline development and personnel training,and also provides a theoretical basis for the construction of the discipline system with Chinese characteristics.The academic circles pay more and more attention to the discipline construction.Predecessors have done a lot of work in this field,but there are still some weak links.The research focuses on the following three aspects: first,to investigate the establishment process of Chinese mechanics discipline from scratch at the beginning of the founding of new China,including the discussion on the nature of mechanics specialty by scientists at the beginning of the founding of mechanics specialty;second,this paper combs the establishment of three types of mechanics specialty at the beginning of the founding of new China;third,this paper analyzes the influence of technological science thought on the establishment of mechanics discipline in China and the Enlightenment from it.Based on the investigation of the establishment process of three types of mechanics specialty,the research shows that Chinese mechanics discipline is established under the influence of scientists and the needs of economic construction,and it is a discipline with Chinese characteristics.From the perspective of Sociology of science,this paper makes a historical investigation on the establishment process of mechanics in China,and provides a historical reference for the development of technology discipline and the construction of national first-class discipline.
