Information industry is the basic and strategic industry which is the lifeblood of national economy and national security,and the geographic information industry,as an important part of information industry,will get great development.With the continuous advancement of information technology in various departments of our country and the increase and development of high-tech enterprises engaged in the development and application of GIS in China,the demand for geographic information science professionals is increasing and the gap is widening.Vocational education,as the education of cultivating skilled personnel,plays an important role in the training system of geographical information talents,and professional recognition is an important factor in individual professional study and future career choice.Throughout the country,there is less research on secondary vocational geographic information majors,so it is necessary to understand the professional identity status of secondary vocational geographic information students.In order to better understand the professional identity of secondary vocational geographic information students,the opening of relevant professional schools in Shandong Province to search for records,and finally selected Shandong Metallurgical Technician College,Luzhong Secondary Vocational School,Jinan Science and Technology Secondary Vocational School three schools geographical information class students as research objects,adapted "secondary vocational geographic information students professional identification" questionnaire,after many experimental modifications,and finally determine from the professional direction of recognition,employment prospects,Vocational schools identify with three aspects to evaluate the professional identity of secondary vocational geographic information students,using SPSS22.0 to students in the training mode,class role,academic performance and other nine aspects of the identification of the difference factor analysis,exploratory analysis,correlation analysis,the results show that geographical information students professional identity is in the upper middle level.At the same time set up an outline of open interviews,some leaders,teachers,students for in-depth interviews,the results of the interview in-depth analysis.Based on the analysis of questionnaires and interview results,three influencing factors affecting the professional identity of geographic information students are obtained,namely: their own factors,school factors,social factors,and11 suggestions for improving the professional identity of geographic information students are put forward.
