The higher vocational education is taking on the important mission that is to raise the high quality talented people who are adapting to the need of our society and working on production, construction, management and the first line of services.With the principle "the basic theory teaching should be essential and sufficien",most higher vocational-technical school's science and technology majors opened higher mathematics class , which provided the necessary rationales to the higher vocational-technical school students'professional skill classes.However,in the present situation, many reasons made the higher vocational-technical school students pay less attention to the math class than their professional class. Their learning enthusiasm and initiative need to be further improved. It is necessary for the vocational math educators to teach students how to cultivate and enhance interest in mathematics, alleviate the fear of mathematics and improve the interest of studying math.With the direction of the Educational Psychology,this thesis summed up four points to solve these problems. Firstly,this thesis elaborated the function of interest to the math study of higher vocational-technical school students and analyzed the present situation of the math study in higher vocational-technical school, considering that it is extremely essential to study and research the higher vocational-technical school students'interest to the study of mathematics. The interest of study is the motivating factors of promopting study activities. Students are only interested in learning materials,then they can aim at the psychological activity and concentrate on the study object, animating their consciousnesses, concentrating their attentions,having a keen observations and enduring memorie. And then we can arouse and strengthen their intrinsic power, thus reassign their study enthusiasm, impeling the student to seek the unknown thing, acquiring the knowledge, and experiencing the pleasure of studying mathematics.Mathematics is a subject which has highly abstract and strict logical disciplines, including massive formulas, principles and theorems. It needs the tedious computation and the strict inference provement, which often make the student feel arid, even awe at the sight, therefore, mathematics teaching especially needs to take to stimulate and raise students'studying interest.Secondly,I have adopted the means of extracting group sampling and have extracted 170 freshmen from the Information Engineering Department of Shandong College of Information Technology, including 57 high school students of science, 53 high school students of art and 60 technical school students.Using methods of questionnaire survey, individual conversation and so on, the present situation of the mathematics study interest of higher vocational-technical school students and its influence factors have been investigated. By SPSS, I have analyzed the researching projects, calculated the means, standard differences and the different frequency and persentag of testing pieces and the other groups. What's more, I have examined the levels of mathematics study among high school students of science, high school students of art and technical school students. Combined the source of higher vocational-technical school students and their basis of methematics and the different characteristics of different higher vocational-technical school students, I have analyzed these investigations and reasons which influenced the study interests of higher vocational-technical school students.Thirdly, reflecting from the investigation questions, unifying my individual teaching experience of many years, I have researched the ways how to training the math interests of higher vocational-technical school students and raised some useful and practical countermeasures, which include: (1)be excellent at the first class, (2)build harmonious relationship between teachers and students and create a relaxed environment for study,(3) design teaching progress carefully to enhance the effect of teaching. We can use the methods of introducing, asking questions, excellent language and blackboard characters and the teaching rhythm to improve the students'interests,(4) pay more attention to the math culture education, (5) enhance education of math thoughts,methods and aesthetic education,(6) pay more attention to practice and application in teaching,(7) motivate success and enhance the interests of students, (8) direct methods of studying mathematics and improve the interests, (9) through after-class activities to develop the interests.Finally, through a teaching example of integral concept, this thesis illustrated how to combine the teaching contents, teaching conditions and the students'practical circumstances in mathematics classroom instructions and use these methods,and then examined these training methods in class.
