Water is the source of life,and water is one of important national strategic resources that maintain a virtuous cycle of the ecological environment.Zhangjiakou City is located in the upper reaches of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei District.It is an important water source function conservation area in the Beijing-Tianjin Plain area.It is also one of the host cities of the 2022 Winter Olympics.The task of water resources system protection and water resources safety guarantee in Zhangjiakou City is very arduous.This study is based on the GIS-based assessment of water resources vulnerability in Zhangjiakou City,comprehensively understanding the status of the water resources system in the study area,expanding the application examples of GIS technology in the field of water resources vulnerability research,and providing a scientific reference for the assessment of water resources vulnerability in arid and semi-arid areas.At the same time,it will enrich the theoretical basis for the construction of the capital's water conservation areas,and provide a scientific basis for a series of water resources related decisions.In this study,based on the current research status and theory of water resources vulnerability assessment,combined with the various status quo problems faced by Zhangjiakou's water resources system,the geospatial grid evaluation unit is divided,multi-source data is collected and processed,and multiple GIS related functional technologies are used,Combined with the principal component analysis method to conduct a multi-element assessment of the water resource vulnerability of Zhangjiakou in 2015 from the three perspectives of grid unit,administrative unit and watershed unit,and comprehensively aggregate the elements to obtain the 2015 Zhangjiakou water resource vulnerability index and use The thematic map visually shows the vulnerability status of water resources system in Zhangjiakou City in 2015.This paper establishes a basic framework for multi-source data organization and technology application to study similar problems.Among them,for the demographic and economic evaluation indicators,this study combines Zhangjiakou statistical yearbook data with night light data items for spatial discretization processing,combined with principal component analysis for multi-element classification,and uses the variance contribution rate as a weight aggregation to calculate vulnerability Comprehensive evaluation indicators,innovative exploration of details such as the determination of the vulnerability threshold of water resources in Zhangjiakou City.At the same time,based on the GIS grid technology,this study established 1470 5km × 5km grid cells as the basic data bearing and evaluation units for water resource vulnerability assessment,which enriched the traditional use of administrative divisions or watersheds in the academic circle.As a research method of the evaluation unit,the unit makes the evaluation result more accurate and meticulous.This study draws on the use of the ecological vulnerability comprehensive evaluation model SRP model to determine13 evaluation indicators involving natural and human factors,which provides a scientific reference for the construction decision of the Capital Water Conservation Area.
