Rinodina(Ach.)Gray belongs to Fungi,Ascomycota,Ascomycetes,Caliciales and Physciaceae. The lichen genus Rinodina and allied genera are crustose lichens, which mainly grows on the bark, wood, rocks, some species can grow on moss and soil. There are currently more than 300 species in the world, there are 55 species and 2 variants of lichen genus Rinodina that have been reported in China. The main characteristics of this lichen genus are: Thallus crustose, areolate or squamules;light gray to brown;Cortex is hyaline, usually cortex and medulla with white crystals;Apothecia lecanorine, surface flat, concave or convex;Epihymenium is light brown to dark brown;Hymenium is hyline;Hypothecium is gray to grayish yellow;the ascus usually contains 8 spores;the ascospore brown,one-septate,and the cell wall thickness is uneven;Paraphyses are single branched or unbranched;algal cells are Trebouxia. The developmental model of ascospores, spore type, spore size, septum thickness, presence or absence of torus, cell wall thickness and other characteristics are the main characters of lichen genus Rinodina classification. In this study, more than 200 samples collected in Xinjiang were identified and classified by morphological, anatomical, chemical and molecular biological methods, analysis of interspecific genetic relationships of Lichen genus Rinodina and allied genera in Xinjiang by combining phenotypic and genetic characteristics a total of 18 species were identified, including 2 new species of the lichen genus Rinodina, namely:Rinodina sp.1 and Rinodina sp.2;2 newly recorded species in China, respectively:Rinodina afghanica M.Steiner & Poelt and Rinodina guzzinii Jatta. In addition, during the study of allied genera,we found a new record to China Diplotomma venustum Korber,.In this study, the morphological and anatomical characteristics of Xinjiang lichen genus Rinodina and allied genera are described in detail,a key to species of lichen genus Rinodina and provided the key list and the morphology-anatomy pictures. In this study, based on two genes(ITS and mt SSU)carried DNA extract, amplify and sequence of the lichen genus Rinodina and allied genera from Xinjiang. The phylogenetic tree was constructed by maximum likelihood method(ML).The results showed that six large branches were formed inside the lichen genus Rinodina and allied genera in Xinjiang.Species with similar morphological and anatomical characteristics gathered together. The two new species and three new recorded species identified in the study gathered in among the taxa, this is basically consistent with the morphological results. This study analyzes the floristic components and ecological characteristics of the the lichen genus Rinodina and allied genera in Xinjiang, and divides them into four geographical elements: Cosmopolitan element,Temperate element,Central Asian element and endemic to China.Ecological types: saxicolous, corticolous and terricoulous.Statistical analysis of the distribution of Xinjiang the lichen genus Rinodina and allied genera in different altitude gradients. The results showed that the lichen genus Rinodina and allied genera were distributed in the 0-5000 m altitude area.In the mid-elevation area of 2000-3000 m,there were a maximum of 12 species of the lichen genus Rinodina species. It may be more suitable for the mid-altitude area and its relatives are the growth of lichens.Comparing the composition and distribution area of the lichen genus Rinodina in every 2 provinces in 19 provinces across the country,a total of 171 pairs of lichen genus Rinodina composition similarity coefficients were obtained,of which 23 pairs of provinces were more than 0.9,which indicates that the Rinodina species in the province are relatively similar. The results of cluster analysis showed that 54 kinds of lichen genus Rinodina were divided into 5 groups.Category 1 included 5 species,Category 2included 12 species,Category 3 included 11 species,Category 4 included 11 species and Category 5 included 15 kinds.
