Objective: To explore the characteristics of the cardiovascular structure and function of elite female boxers by Echocardiography,and to provide basis for the selection of athletes in the female boxers.Dynamic echocardiography was used to compare the differences in cardiac morphology and physiological responses between female boxers and control group.Methods: In this study,doppler ultrasound was used to compare the cardiovascular structure and function of 22 female boxers and 15 female college students in a quiet state.In the second study,7 female boxers and 14 female college students were further monitored for cardiac morphology and physiological responses during exercise load.Results: The first study found that in a quiet state,the heart rate,systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of the female boxers were lower than the ordinary group(P < 0.05).The left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVIDd),left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVIDs),left ventricular posterior diastolic wall thickness(LVPWd),left ventricular end diastolic diameter/body surface area(LVIDd/BSA),left ventricular end systolic diameter/body surface area(LVIDs/BSA),left ventricular mass(LVM),left ventricular mass index(LVMI),left ventricular end-diastolic volume(EDV),left ventricular end-systolic volume(ESV),stroke volume(SV),cardiac output(CO)and cardiac index(CI)of boxers were significantly higher than the ordinary group(P < 0.05),but the ejection fraction(EF)and fraction shortening(FS)were significantly lower than the ordinary group(P < 0.05).In addition,compared with the ordinary female,the cross-sectional area of carotid artery,brachial artery,radial artery,femoral artery and the inner diameter of brachial artery,femoral artery in the boxing group all increased significantly(P < 0.05).The intima media thickness(IMT)of femoral artery of the boxers was higher than that of the ordinary group(P < 0.05).The flow-mediated dilation(FMD)of boxers was also significantly better than that of ordinary group(P < 0.05).The results of study two showed that in the process of increasing load exercise,The structure and function of the heart of female boxers changed little under low load,and showed better structural and functional fitness during and immediately after exercise than in the normal group,In addition,the boxer's heart recovered faster than the normal group during the post-exercise recovery phase.Conclusion: The cardiovascular structure and function of elite female boxers have undergone adaptive changes after long-term training,which includeds the ventricular cavity,ventricular capacity,arterial lumen area and inner diameter all increased significantly,and the vascular endothelial diastolic function is also enhanced.After a long period of boxing training,the athletes' heart function in the process of exercise load is significantly better than that of ordinary people.
