Study On Daigu Landform Of Mount Yimengshan Geopark

Since 21 Century,with the widespread recognition of the concept of sustainable development and geological tourism,the construction of the global geopark has attracted much attention.Mount Yimengshan Geopark has abundant geoheritages resources and unique geomorphic landscapes.Among them Daigu landform has been evaluated as one of the world-class geoheritages and is of very high scientific and tourism development value.However,studies on Daigu landform is few and lack of system and integrity at the moment.The deficiency of such scientific research will directly affect the sustainable development of geopark.This paper took the Daigu landform as the main research object,by investigating features of Gu and studying related documentation,the meaning and characteristics,classification,distribution and evolution process of Daigu landform were summarized and analyzed.Some suggestions concerning on the protection and tourism development of Daigu Geoarea were put forward as well.Firstly,briefly overview the geological background and social economic situation of the study area and consult geomorphological research and related literature involved "Gu".Combined with the understanding of Gu,the definition and the name's change of Daigu landform were clarified.Secondly on the basis of field survey,by analyzing the characteristic data of typical Guin the park,various Gu of Daigu landform are divided into different types according to two different classification principle and standard.Thirdly,according to distribution from dense to sparse,the study divided Daigu landform in Mount Yimengshan area into three areas: core area,typical area and edge area.In addition,based on the regional geological tectonic evolution,the formation process of Daigu landform can be divided into 4 periods: the deposition of rock strata of Cambrian;these rock strata being uplift to the surface during the Himalayan movement;Daigu landform beginning to form and the demise of Gu caused by erosion.The formation of Daigu landform was dominated by three factors: the lithology,endogenetic action and exogenic action.In the end,under discussing the problems of Daigu landform protection and construction of the geopark,this paper offered three ways to achieve the sustainable development of Daigu landform and the geopark,that is taking various protection ways,improving interpretation system and working hard on publicizing the geopark.
