| Today, National Geopark has formed a nationwide network. In driving rapid economic growth, how to maintain a sustainable development of geoheritages resources becomes the problem, which needs to solve urgently. Dunhuang Yardang National Geopark of Gansu has excellent geoheritages resources, the tourists and income constantly increasing, caused some problems for geoheritages protection. This paper studied geoheritages resources in the Geopark, by investigating the geoheritages of the Yardang Geopark and its conservation status, classification and evaluation of the geoheritages, comprehensive analysis of their sustainable development issues, and explore solutions to them, hoping to provide some references for the sustainable development of the Geopark.First, overview the regional background of physical geography, geology and the socio-economic. Analysis of mechanism, development process and the domestic comparisons of yardang.Second, based on wild survey, classify the geoheritages resources in the Yardang Geopark. Further Classify the Yardang, which widely distributed in the Geopark.Third, though qualitative and quantitative evaluation method to evaluate the major geoheritages resources in the Geopark. Qualitative evaluations from three assessments: scientific and popular science value, aesthetic value, tourism development value. Quantitative evaluation is to establish quantitative evaluation system, through the AHP method to determine the factor weights, score for the Geoparks primary geoheritages resources. According to the score divided geoheritages resources into world level, national level, provincial level and local level.Fourth, analysis of the present conditions and existing problems of the Geopark geoheritages protection. Summed up the four strategies:Refinement of protection of geoheritages resources; enhanced Tourism product development; Complete infrastructure, Increase Traveling comfort; Establishing a scientific, systematic, diversity of interpretation system. |
