Conceptual models and methodologies in cross-cultural comparisons in international business decision

This paper examines some of the conceptual models and methodologies proposed from 1967 to the present that could be used as a basis for making international business arrangements. These models use univariate and multivariate frameworks incorporating business environmental factors and their relative significance. A synthesis of the models examined has been attempted. This synthesis involves an updating of the specifics of the models making them viable for current business applications. The synthesis is presented in an ideal form with the recognition that its applications are subject to industry variations.
