Since entering the 21 st century,market competition has become increasingly fierce.The ability to respond to market demand and cost control at the fastest speed has become a key factor affecting the competitiveness of enterprises.As the primary link of the company's production and operation activities,procurement management plays an important role in the entire enterprise value chain.In terms of procurement cost,product quality and on-time delivery rate,it affects the competitiveness of enterprises to varying degrees.At this stage,in the process of continuous development of enterprises,procurement management has become a new point of profit growth,which plays a vital role in enhancing the core competitiveness of enterprises.Taking Y company as an example,this paper first expounds the relevant theories of procurement management and ERP system,and then analyzes the actual situation of the original procurement management.It is found that the procurement information in Y company procurement management is not timely,and the procurement planning process is uncontrollable.The problems of inventory management and supplier management are not standardized,and information communication between various functional departments is not smooth,so as to solve the problems existing in procurement management,the necessity of implementing ERP is proposed.Using literature research methods,case analysis methods,experience summarization methods and other research methods,summarize and analyze the optimization strategies of Y company's supplier management,inventory management,procurement planning,procurement process,procurement information,etc.after ERP implementation,and from personnel training,The measures for reward and punishment,data sharing,and system improvement have been proposed.Since the implementation of the ERP system in 2012,Y Company has achieved initial results.After optimizing procurement management,it has saved procurement costs and improved procurement efficiency.However,in actual operation,it still needs to be continuously improved according to the actual needs of the company's procurement management.To this end,the company will include the external unit in the overall scope of procurement management under the ERP system,unify the business correspondence documents(outsourcing work orders,purchase orders)of the foreign association company,and further optimize and improve the relevant processes.Maximize the effectiveness of purchasing management optimization.
