With the continuous development of science and technology,product replacement rate is accelerating,especially in consumer electronics products.The product life cycle is in shortening.There are many examples that popular products today,may be out of the market tomorrow.In such a grim situation,to keep the way for enterprises to survive and develop is: With foreseeability for new product development,and to quickly introduce new product with low cost,high quality,rapid introduction of new products into the market,to meet the changing the market and stimulate customer's desire to buy.The N Company is a technology Company whch focusing on R&D and sales of fingerprint recognition technology related products.In the company,due to lack of proper new product introduction process,the unreasonable design,low yield of new product,product quality can not be guaranteed was often happened,also the selection of components was not common parts in the market,long lead-time,resulting in material purchasing and planning were difficult,which can delay the new product launch schedule.The lack of effective communication between organizations,information is not easy to tranfer,resulting in a waste of resources,seriously affect the new product quickly and smoothly.These problems can cause N company's new products cannot be introduced quickly and smoothly.Thus,affecting the subsequent production of new products and delivery schedule,and can not meet the needs of customers and markets,and even loss of customers.Therefore,this paper will analyze the new product introduction process optimization of N company,to make sure the concept of new products can be quickly transformed to manufacturing and establish a reasonable and suitable new product introduction process for N company.This paper will base on project management,process optimization,design for manufacturing(DFM),failure mode and effects analysis(FMEA)related theory.By sharing the status of new product introduction process in N company.Identify the problems in the new product introduction process of N company,and then do the problem analyze.According to the characteristics and actual conditions of N company,design a scheme of new product introdution optimization for N company,and determine the new product introduction process optimization scheme after did the feasibility study.Monitor or tracking the effect,do continuous improvement in the implementation.After implementing the optimized new product introduction process in N company,by selecting common new parts,greatly shorten the material procurement cycle,by considering the existing production process,to identify potential risks in the manufacturing process in advance.It makes the new product introduing with low cost and high quality.On the other hand,by executing the new product introduction process,the R&D team and operation team can communicate well at the beginning of the product design.By doing DFM and FMEA activities,to avoid repeated design changes on the premise of meeting new product requirements.At the same time,establish the engineering change system to make the information transfer more effectively,ensure the new product can be transfered to the market in time and quickly,and meet or exceed the target of customer expectation.
