In the background of rising labor and energy costs, suppliers increase the frequency of distribution in order to meet the growing distribution demands of retailers, which result in the increment of distribution costs in suppliers' daily operation.Serving a number of retailers with scattered locations, traditional independent distribution often leads to long-distance driving with large resource consumption.Collaborative distribution which is developed on the key concept of using efficient, intensive and resource-sharing,has achieved remarkable effects in reducing distribution cost and improving efficiency, gradually becoming the main mode of distribution.Considering the differences in vender-customer service relationship and the demand of retailers, this paper aims to explore the supplier task allocation problem, vehicle routes planning problem of collaborative distribution among small and medium-sized suppliers in the retail industry from the following aspects:(1)Based on the analysis of the research reviews of mode, method and vehicle routes planning problem in collaborative distribution, this paper studies the characteristics of the ways of resource sharing and goods transferring.Relating to the collaborative distribution of supplier, this paper proposes two collaborative distribution modes: Collaborative Distribution under Fully-shared Distribution Task and Collaborative Distribution under Limited-Shared Distribution Task from the view of considering the differences in trust degree because of the vendor-customer service relationship and the constraints in task delegation.(2)For the problem of Collaborative Distribution under Fully-Shared Distribution Tasks, the paper analyzes and adopts the centralized pickup and exchange scheme as the way of transferring goods between suppliers. Then the paper generalizes the processes of the distribution, and establishes the mathematical model with the aim of minimizing total driving distances.A hybrid algorithm integrating the improved Differential Evolution Algorithm,Simulated-Centroid Method and Ant Colony Algorithm is designed to solve the problems of distribution task recombination, collection point selection and vehicle routes planning.(3)For the problem of Collaborative Distribution under Limited-Shared Distribution Tasks, the paper analyzes and adopts the scheme of pickup and transfer on the way as the way for transferring goods between suppliers. Then the paper generalizes the processes of the distribution, and establishes the mathematical model with the aim of minimizing total driving distance.A hybrid algorithm integrating the improved Differential Evolution Algorithm,Genetic Algorithm and Dynamic Programming Method is designed to solve the problems of distribution task recombination, vehicle routes planning with pickup and transfer on the way.(4)The paper selects the sample data of distribution suppliers and retailers in a downtown, and applies data to the proposed two collaborative distribution model respectively. The hybrid algorithm designed for each model is carried out for the experiments. The results of the optimization scheme of each distribution model are obtained and compared with the independent distribution scheme in multi index. The comparison results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm.
