YY company is now the only company in Yunnan Province which has obtained the license for the produce and wholesale of table salt,and it is the leading enterprise in China that has integrated operation of salt produce and wholesale.For years,relying on the unique advantages of natural resources and geographical environment advantages in Yunnan,the company has created a variety of pure and pollution-free table salt and daily chemical salt products.Yet,because of the long-term salt monopoly system in China,the marketing behavior of YY company is insufficient,product structure is weak,and the pricing strategy is blurred.With the reform of the salt industry that began in 2016,the sales environment of YY company's products has undergone tremendous changes.This article takes the reform of the salt industry system as background,takes the performance evaluation status of YY company's marketing personnel as the research object,and supports the performance evaluation related theories.It uses the literature review method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to analyze the reform of the YY company under the background of the salt industry system.The salesmen's current performance appraisal was investigated and analyzed,and problems such as incomplete performance appraisal system,unscientific appraisal method and index design,and limitation of application of appraisal results were found and pointed out.In the optimization design of the performance appraisal for salesmen in YY company,by using the BSC method to decompose the company's strategy to enhance the connection between appraisal and strategy,the balanced scorecard was used to decompose the company's strategic goals,and the performance appraisal of marketers matching the strategic goals was set by the KPI method Indicators,using empirical analysis to give weight to key performance indicators,while re-setting the performance evaluation cycle,enriching the use of performance evaluation results,and optimizing the performance evaluation process that includes matchingperformance feedback,And supplemented by pre-assessment training,supervision during assessment,post-assessment talks and appeals,and other safeguards.The research objective of this article is the performance appraisal of the salesmen in YY company,optimizes the performance appraisal system based on BSC theory and key KPI theory,which improves the original single sales volume.As the leading performance evaluation,it provides specific guidance and suggestions for the YY company to respond to the reform of the salt industry system and improve the performance evaluation level and management level,which is beneficial to the realization of the strategic goals of the organization.In the meantime,the optimization research of the performance appraisal will be valuable for other salt companies' reference.
