With the rapid development of China's economy and the continuous improvement of the market economic system,the performance management system in all walks of life is undergoing profound changes.As a kind of financial industry,insurance industry has also played a crucial role in China's economic development.At present,it is also facing the reform of performance management.Since the development of performance management theory,it has become a consensus to establish a strategy-oriented performance management system,and many scholars have confirmed that it is feasible to introduce the balanced scorecard tool into the study of strategic performance management.TS branch is a municipal branch of PICC,which is a leading property insurance enterprise in the local area.However,in the face of complex and changeable market environment and strategic requirements of the group company,its current performance management scheme has various problems.These problems have hindered the company's development and deviated from the group's strategic transformation requirements.This paper through the analysis of TS branch of the current performance management and evaluation system,the appraisal system,process,evaluation system from three aspects in this paper,the current problems in performance management,and probes into the causes of problems in-depth analysis,finally put forward the train of thought-using the balanced scorecard to build a strategic performance management system,and then for TS branch can introduce the feasibility of the balanced scorecard is analyzed.After confirming the conditional introduction of BSC in TS branch,the strategic layout of the group was analyzed,the strategic planning and strategic objectives of TS branch were determined,and then the performance assessment system of the branch was reset and tested.
