The competition of Life Insurance Industry is the competition of talents in the final analysis,but what kind of person is talent? What kind of personnel can be regarded as excellent managers,define the criteria,how to select,build and cultivate the company's own reserve talent echelon and other related issues become the current G company must face in the development of the problem.Based on the competency model of core managers in G company,this thesis studies how to make it more effective to reserve managerial talents for the company,how to apply it to the analysis of the training needs of core managers to serve the human resource management of enterprises.The main contents of this thesis are as follows: First of all,state the research background,significance,methods and content of the thesis.Secondly,it introduces the three concepts which need to be defined in this thesis,which are competency,competency structure characteristics and competency model.Thirdly,it analyzes the current situation of human resource management of core managers in G company,and analyzes the limitation of competency evaluation and application of current core managers,they are: The deviation of competency requirement caused by different values,the over-emphasis on the resume of Management Post,and the failure of performance result to reflect competency.Thirdly,based on the principles and ideas of competency model,the competency model of core managers in G company is constructed and evaluated.And according to the theory of competency characteristics,from the identification,investigation and analysis as well as the framework,the final results of its scoring and effectiveness.Through the analysis of the questionnaire,the thesis makes clear the weight of each index in the competency model of G company's core managers.Finally,the competency model as a tool from the recruitment and selection of human resources,training,performance evaluation and salary incentives to conduct research and practical application.Under the background of the new era and the premise of the development of G company's enterprises,this thesis uses the theory of competency model to construct the competency model of core managers suitable for G company,the evaluation model can help G company to improve the efficiency of human resources utilization of core managers and enhance the core competitiveness,which has certain practical significance,it is also useful for other insurance companies to use competency model to select and use core managerial personnel and to support management decision-making.
