As the information technology changes with each passing day,the traditional retail industry has been pushed forward to transform.It is the manufacture of goods and the retail mode has been injected with new vitality.The new retail revolution has intensified the competition in the retail industry.The weak economic growth rate has brought negative impact on the consumer market,and consumer demand has also taken on the characteristics of individualization.The old retail model is no longer accepted by the current market.Chinese retailers are mainly based on the extensive traditional operation mode,which is not enough to deal with the inventory backlog,the decline of operating income and the loss of consumers.Through the research on stock management of XHD Supermarket,the author makes a field investigation on the XHD supermarket’s store and warehouse.I analyzed the financial data from the links of stock purchase,storage and sales,as well as a comparative analysis of the same trade.I also interviewed internal staff and consumers,summarizing negative effects of the extensive inventory management model of XHD supermarket.For example,the inventory management model extensive,the structure of goods imbalance and many other issues.This paper aims at the stock management problem of XHD Supermarket.It is found that lean thinking can effectively solve the stock management problems of XHD Supermarket.Therefore,faced with the opportunities and challenges,the transformation and upgrading of XHD Supermarket is imminent.Focusing on the improvement of inventory management model,lean thinking are used to build lean logistics distribution system,establish information sharing platform with suppliers to realize the reengineering of supply chain and enhance its core competitiveness. |
