Manufacuture Company Inventory Management Study Base On Lean Logistics Principle

It is well known that in manufacturing enterprises, in order to make the limited funds to create the biggest value, reasonable and effective inventory management is eternal pursuit of the goal of manufacturing enterprises. Today’s market competition is the fast and changeable market, whether quickly responds to customer’s demand, to shorten the delivery time and effective control of inventory, is one of the challenges of the current manufacturing enterprises. The second, in recent years, the rapid development of foreign manufacturing, more and more the world 500 strong enterprises sets up production plants in China, some ideas of advanced production and management was introduced into China, it brings very large impaction to the current domestic manufacturing enterprise.The thesis researchs a special kind of production pattern, it’s a project type assembly manufacturing enterprises, this is a kind of production mode of design for the order, it is to meet the personalized needs of customers as the goal, its product is designed by customer according to customer’s requirements. Also, the project type of assembly manufacturing enterprises is faced with shorter delivery time, improve product quality, reduce cost and improve the service level, also forced to have fast response to changing market.So,it’s a very urgent and significant task that how to improve the inventory management level and reduce the logistics cost of project type of assembly manufacturing enterprises. It can help the domestic manufacturing enterprises to improve market competitiveness, adapts to the international and domestic changing situation.In addition, since the birth of the theory of lean production, logistics management experts put forward the new promotion of lean logistics that from the view of logistics management for reference, and closely combined with supply chain management theory. Lean logistics is guided by the lean thinking, can achieve all-round lean operation of logistics activities. Nowadays the scholars on the concept and method of the system are studied.Based on the background, the thesis will focuses on the research about how to apply the lean logistics idea and method, the effective inventory management. The thesis uses B company as an example, a project type of assembly manufacturing enterprises, the mode of production is in a project oriented, customized production mode for equipment. This paper states that how B company applying the idea of lean logistics and tools, the inventory management improvement, the results also showed that B company inventory management improved, operating costs down, the market reaction speed is increased. So, this paper has certain reference and reference value for the future development of the inventory management improvement of the same type of manufacturing enterprises.
