An Optimized Sampling Inspection System Is Consequently Built Up On The Basis Of Suppliers' Process Capability

Along with national economic growth in recent ten years,high-speed rail stepped into rapid development.As the industry layout expands,a great many domestic suppliers swarm into the industry,consisting of the huge supply chain of High-speed rail industry.Company S is a power system manufacturer for high-speed train founded in such an industry background,located in the second level of supply chain,ranking only second to loco manufacturer.Company S produces no parts;all are externally procured or customized according to drawing.All the parts would face warehouse-in inspection and then be assembled by Company S.At the very beginning of foundation,parts were mostly imported.Since the quality of imported parts were quite stable,the warehouse-in inspection is performed with sampling three pieces from every batch.More and more domestic suppliers entered Company S's supply chain,sampling inspection in the past brought great risk to Company S as user;it has to bear the cost caused by suppliers' disqualification most of the time.The thesis analyzed on the variety,source,inspection requirement,characteristics of incoming parts of Company S,combining literature and research achievements home and abroad,and then do risk analysis with HYPGEOM.DIST to evaluate suppliers' process capability.Based on process capacity index(Cpk)and characteristics capacity index(Ppk),the thesis raised combination of full inspection and sampling inspection,and combination of sampling inspection by attributes and by variables.An optimized sampling inspection system is consequently built up on the basis of suppliers' process capability.The system fully considered the risks both from manufacturer and user,and fully utilized the characteristic of material consuming and suppliers' process capability level.The sampling inspection system,with certain systematization and operability,well protected the benefit of Company S as a user,meanwhile enhanced suppliers' management level of Company S.
