With the development of foreign trade, China has already been an importantpart of international trade. The idea of “Quality is everything” makes all tradingparties pay more attention to investment on quality management. Product samplinginspection is one of the most important parts of quality management in the actualquality control field. The effectiveness of sampling inspection mostly depends onthe scientific nature of sampling inspection methods. In China, the theoreticalresearch of sampling inspection by attributes mainly gears the internationalconventions, but scientific sampling method is not popular in actual practice. Themethods which are used by some domestic enterprises, are quite irrational. This thesis consists of five chapters. Chapter one introduces the history, development and present situation of quality inspection in China and other countries.Chapter two introduces the basic principles and mathematical model of the sampling inspection. Chapter three emphases the two risks in evaluating mathematical modelabout sampling inspection, and raises unreasonable points and gives relevantsuggestions. Chapter four analyses the irrationality caused by defects classificationduring the appearance inspection. Chapter five makes the conclusion of the thesisand looks ahead of future work.Compared with other research of sampling inspection by attributes, theinnovation of this thesis is by combining with practice. The author takes advantageof the work in the first line, collects actual methods then uses mathematical model toevaluate the methods so as to seek new solution for the problem. Previous researchpays more attention to the theoretical research, and do not concern much about theactual practice. Chapter three analyses risks of producers and users and givesreasonable suggestions for using beneficial methods for sampling inspection byattributes. Chapter four can make people find irrational points for presentclassifications and rethink relevant feasibility.
