Analysis Of Financial Statements Of Yatai Group Based On Harvard Analytical Framework

Jilin University is located in the three eastern provinces known as the "industrial cradle" of New China.The preliminary foundation of China's industrialization was laid here.Yatai Group,which owns the largest cement factories in the three eastern provinces,is a well-known enterprise in Jilin Province.Yatai Group is a listed company,whose main business includes cement,real estate,securities,medicine,commerce and trade.Yatai Group was founded in 1986 and listed on the Stock Exchange in 1995.After more than 20 years of development,Yatai Group has been in the leading position in the same industry in Northeast China.It is a large enterprise group with assets and income of more than 10 billion yuan.Yatai Group has won the honors of "Top 500 National Enterprises" and "Twelve Large Cement Enterprise Groups Supported by the State" and is one of the important economic pillars of Jilin Province.However,in 2017,such well-known enterprises were questioned about the supervision of the Shanghai Stock Exchange and had a financial crisis.I think it is necessary to study the financial situation of Yatai Group.This paper chooses Yatai Group as a case to study the current situation of Yatai Group through Harvard Financial Analysis Framework.Firstly,it carries on the strategic analysis,through the analysis of Yatai Group's market position and core competitiveness,studies the strategy of its choice.Next is the part of accounting analysis,choosing the data of Yatai Group from 2014 to 2017,and choosing Qingsong Jianhua,Conch Cement,Jinyu Group and Huaxin Cement for comparative analysis,accounting analysis from three aspects: asset quality,income quality and R&D expenditure.Then it is the part of financial analysis,which analyses the solvency,profitability,operation ability and cash flow of the enterprise,and measures the current situation of the enterprise.Finally,according to the current situation of the enterprise,the future development of the enterprise is predicted reasonably.Through the above analysis,it is found that the main financial problems of Yatai Group are accounts receivable,solvency and other aspects,and puts forward suggestions for this.
