Business process reengineering(BPR)is a work process to improve the efficiency and productivity of a company by reorganizing and optimizing its strategy,value-added operation process,policies,organizations and structures.Due to the expansion of enterprise scale,the intensification of enterprise competition,the change of family and family concept,and the rise of manager class,many domestic small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises,especially those enterprises developed through the family business model,can only adapt to the development of the environment by constantly changing themselves.This paper took PS company as an example,introduced the method and process of implementing order business process reengineering in detail,which could be used as a reference for other similar enterprises.This paper first introduced the background and significance of the thesis,described the theoretical research and development of BPR in detail,so that you can have a preliminary understanding of the background of the thesis;Next,based on the PS company's operation status of order business process and future planning,this paper analyzed the key problems in the order business process,and pointed out the necessity and urgency of BPR in enterprise's own perspective;At last,this paper found out the key points needs to be transformed in the process,through the value chain,the importance of performance and other analysis methods.In the aspect of solving problems,this paper first established the core purpose of BPR is to break down the barriers between the departments and enhance the improving ability of management system in PS company,also improving the quality and timeliness of order delivery as the secondary purpose;Next,PS company decided to implement the project with progressive reengineering,through the BPR team's discussions;Then PS company chose the proper methods for the four stages split by the different characteristics in order business process to analysis and redesign each stage,completed scheme of BPR and drew the new business process flowchart reengineered;In the end,this paper expounded the measures in PS company for ensuring the success of this BPR project,and summarized the whole paper.This BPR project of PS company improves the order timeliness from 85% to 98%,and decreases the order delivery cycle from 91.1h to 64.4h,which improved the company's efficiency.The implementation of the project also breaks down the barriers between the departments effectively,turns into the sample for the company management system improvement,and can be used as a reference for the BPR project of other similar enterprises.
