As China joined the WTO, according to the requirements of WTO, China’sbanking market is gradually opening up. Foreign banks enter to the domestic market,and rapidly enhance the market share in China with their advanced management andoperational capability. Bank of China needs to step up the reforms to meet theincreasingly fierce market competition. The original rough mad style departmentmanagement is no longer adapted to the development of modern banking. Bank ofChina’s urgent need to change the existing management.In2005, the CBRC introduced the processes bank model to numbers of banks,the processes bank officially entered the Chinese banking market. Under the guidanceof the CBRC, commercial banks began to explore the construction of process Bank.In American and European countries, most banks have completed the construction ofprocess Bank, through the process bank building, the core competitiveness areenhanced. China’s commercial banks exposure the process bank a little late, there arenot have a complete theory in construction practice yet. Every transformation takesplace in the dark.In this paper, the theory of the development and construction process at homeand abroad were reviewed.
