Research On The Quality And Safety Of Agricultural Products In Condition Of Decentralized Operation

Food is basic to life,and safety is fundamental for food."Safety on the tip of tongue" is directly related to the health and safety of people.In recent years,incidents of agricultural product quality and safety have been frequently exposed,seriously threatening the health and safety of consumers,and also brings huge economic losses.Agricultural products are the source of food.Statistics show that 70% of the food consumed every day are fresh agricultural products and 90% of food processing use agricultural products as raw materials.Therefore,to ensure food safety,it must be grasped from the source which is the quality of agricultural products.The risks of agricultural product quality and safety are lurking in many procedures such as producing,processing,circulating and consuming.Due to factors like long chain,various procedures,scattered subjects and weak supervision,accidents of agricultural product quality and safety are difficult to predict,and are sudden,severe,urgent,attracting huge attention.Unlike specialized mass production by individuals or families in other countries,sources of agricultural product supply chain in China are more likely to be small-scaled individual farmer production or professional cooperative agricultural production.This paper,from the perspective of risk management of whole process,intends to analyze the risks that may be caused by the decentralized farmer business model for agricultural product quality and safety based on relevant theoretical and analytical framework.Also,the author summarizes the experience and practice of risk management on agricultural product quality and safety at home and abroad,and tries to construct a risk management system for the integration of agricultural product quality and safety,including pre-production,mid-production and post-production,in order to provide some feasible suggestions for improving the agricultural product quality and safety in China.
