Nowadays,the pressure of market competition is intensified.Under such circumstances,enterprises also need to invest energy in improving the behavior management of employees,especially knowledge employees,who often have counterproductive work behaviors.As these employees have more subtle ways of counterproductive work behaviors,their behaviors often produce more serious consequences.Practical and academic circles have begun to pay attention to this problem.In an organization,the impression relationship between the upper and lower levels plays a decisive role and has a significant impact on the long-term development of the team.Compared with traditional employees,many knowledge employees have strong autonomy and outstanding self-awareness.According to the theory of environmental psychological behavior of organizational behavior,when the direct supervisor carries out impression management,the employee and the supervisor establish the psychological contract,and then the employee will have the corresponding extra-role behavior.This paper proposes that the supervisor impression management is the antecedent variable of the counterproductive work behavior of knowledge workers,and the employee psychological contract is the intermediary variable.The analysis enriches the related research on the counterproductive work behavior of knowledge workers.The research object of this paper is knowledge emp loyees.The impression management of supervisors is taken as the independent variable,the counterproductive work behavior as the dependent variable,and the psychological contract of employees as the intermediary variable to build the model.Through empir ical analysis,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)impression management of supervisors is negatively correlated with counterproductive work behaviors of knowledge workers;(2)the impression management of supervisors is positively correlated with the psychological contract of knowledge employees;(3)the psychological contract of knowledge workers is negatively correlated with counterproductive work behaviors;(4)psychological contract has mediating effect,which is between the counterproductive work behavior of knowledge workers and the impression management of supervisors.At the end of this paper,from the point of view of impression management,how to restrain the counterproductive work behavior to make targeted measures.
