Research On Social Supervision Mechanism Of Food Safety In China

"The country is based on the people,the people take food as the heaven,the food is safe,the quality is based on honesty,and the quality is based on honesty" to ensure that the people can eat with confidence and promote the prosperity of the country.With the rapid development of the economy and society,China has completely said goodbye to the shortage of food,and the dietary needs of the general public have been met.At the same time,however,food safety incidents have emerged endlessly,endangering human health and seriously affecting social stability,which has brought enormous challenges to food safety supervision.For a long time,China's food safety supervision mainly relies on the government's supervision of food safety,ignoring the regulatory role of consumers,news media,social organizations and other social subjects outside the government supervision on food safety.Faced with various problems caused by food safety,the party's 19 th National Congress report pointed out that the implementation of food safety strategies will allow people to eat with confidence.The party and the government have increased supervision,but the food safety issue involves all aspects of society.Government departments cannot cover everything.The “vacuum” of supervision needs to be filled by social forces.Social supervision to strengthen food safety can effectively compensate for the defects of government failure and market failure,and ensure food safety.The research content of this paper mainly includes the following parts: Firstly,it systematically sorts out the existing research on food safety social supervision in China,and analyzes the basic situation of social supervision of food safety in China by using public governance theory,information asymmetry theory and government failure theory as the theoretical support;Secondly,using survey research method,literature research method and comparative analysis method to summarize the following problems in China's food safety social supervision: The scope and links of the supervision of food safety social subjects are not comprehensive,the participation of food safety social supervision is not high,the food safety social supervision means is limited,and the social supervision of food safety is not strong;Thirdly,it summarizes the causes of the current social security problems of food safety in China from three aspects: the imperfect laws of food safety social supervision,the weak disclosure of food safety social supervision information,and the imperfect social security incentive mechanism of food safety;Fourth,on the basis of the existing research,learn from the experience of food safety and social supervision in the United States,Japan,and the European Union,from the three aspects of improving the legal security of social supervision of food safety,improving the social supervision information disclosure mechanism of food safety,and improving the incentive and restraint mechanism of multi-participating participants on food safety supervision,the social supervision mechanism for improving China's food safety Suggest countermeasures.In summary,based on the existing research on the existing social supervision of food safety,this paper summarizes and analyzes the current social supervision issues and causes of food safety in China,and puts forward suggestions and countermeasures from various angles.The research results of this paper provide a certain reference value for improving the social supervision mechanism of food safety in China,promoting social co-governance and safeguarding people's livelihood.
