Research On The Impact Of Urban Service Industry Competitiveness On Service Trade

Since the twentieth century,with the further division of the service industry division and the continuous extension of the global service value chain,as an important carrier of service industry division.,service trade has become an important part of international trade.The innovation of information technology has promoted the emerging service industry.The emergence of a variety of service trade transactions,the service trade has quickly become an important link to communicate global economic and activities.In the trade friction is increasingly fierce background,China,as the world’s second largest service trading country,how to promote the high-quality development of service trade,coordination of services and services trade relations become particularly important.This paper selects 21 cities in Guangdong Province as a sample,and combined the theoretical and empirical analysis methods to explore how the competitiveness of urban service industry influences service trade development,In order to clarify the reasons for the impact,this paper divides the competitiveness of urban service industry into four basic indicators of urban service industry development level,development environment,development conditions and development vitality.Using OLS estimation method to carry on the empirical analysis find out that: The competitiveness of urban service industry directly affects the development of service trade;among them,education expenditure,scientific research expenditure,legal soundness and intellectual property environment will affect the development vitality,development conditions and development level of urban service industry,and then promote the service trade.And service industry development vitality and development conditions have obvious impact on service trade;while service industry development environment is negatively related to service trade by financial environment,intellectual property environment and local law soundness,the main reason is that the economic development is not coordinated,the educational environment and public services required for the development of inter-city service industry are incomplete,and the inter-regional financial development environment and industrial investment conditions are very different,resulting in low overall productivity of the service industry;The difference in the importance of intellectual property rights in urban law directly affects the development environment of urban service industry.The uneven development of various factors leads to the low overall level of urban service industry environment,which makes the service industry development environment and service trade negatively correlated.Therefore,in the short-term,the development of service trade can focus on the vitality and development conditions of the urban service industry,improve the investment conditions of the service industry,increase the investment vitality,stimulate financial vitality and consumption vitality,etc.;in the long run,enhance the level of urban service trade must be improved the urban service industry competitiveness.
