International Trade In Services, The Development Of China's Service Industry Competitiveness

With the rapid development of international service industry and intra-national service trade in 1970s, service trade plays very important role in the development of international economy and service and is included in the schedule of multi-trade negotiation. Besides, service trade is forming the new field of international trade competition and becomes key factor of increasing international competition power.Nowadays, the developed counties still take leading role of international trade. However, service industry and trade in China is sill relatively lagging: the overall level is not high, trade management and legislation criteria are out of time and the whole competition power is weak.Therefore, in combination with the development trend of international service trade, the paper introduces the present condition of our service industry and trade, analyzes the factors that influence country's competition power both theoretically and practically. Accordingly, there are several strategic choices and countermeasures to promote the development of Chinese service industry and service trade.
