Analysis Of The International Competitiveness Of China’s Trade In Services And Research On The Influencing Factors

In world trade,trade in services has developed rapidly,and in recent years it has even surpassed the speed of trade in merchandise,and the total volume of imports and exports of trade in services has also increased.It can be seen that service trade has become an important part of world trade,and its role has become increasingly prominent.Therefore,for a country,the service trade industry has become the main bargaining chip for its participation in international competition.The level of international competitiveness of trade in services affects a country’s competitive position on the world stage.However,compared with other developed countries in the world,although China’s service trade has achieved certain results,there are still many problems.This paper analyzes the current situation of China’s service trade by collecting and calculating the data of the development scale,balance state and service trade structure of China’s service trade.At the same time,the international competitiveness level of China’s trade in services is analyzed and studied through the calculation of China’s international market share of trade in services,trade competitive advantage index(TC index)and dominant comparative advantage index(RAC index).It is found that in terms of the current development situation,although the scale of China’s trade in services is expanding,there is a deficit,and the degree of deficit is expanding,and the development structure is unbalanced.In terms of international competitiveness,it shows that China does not have competitive advantages in the whole world.Therefore,China need develop service trade and improve the international competitiveness of it,which will help China to improve our advantages in international trade competition.Through the analysis of the influencing factors of China’s service trade,we can put forward corresponding suggestions on how to improve the development status of China’s service trade and enhance the international competitiveness of it.Based on Porter’s "Diamond Model",this paper chooses the employment of tertiary industry,per capita GDP,export volume of goods trade,foreign direct investment and scientific and technological expenditure as the production factors,demand factors,relevant industrial support and government factors respectively which can influence the service trade.This paper uses EVIEWS to conduct regression test on the data compiled and calculated,and analyzes the influence of different factors on the competitiveness of China’s service trade.According to the analysis,some suggestions on how to improve the current situation of China’s service trade and how to improve the international competitiveness of it are put forward.
