China's export has made a great progress since its reform. The information infrastructure has been participating in the transaction preparation, the transaction negotiation, and the contract implementation of the export.Additionally, the new model of cross-border e-commerce supported by the export trade has played a catalytic role in the export, but the construction of information infrastructure has also brought the export some challenges such as the information security challenges and laws and tax loopholes.Besides, for the middle, east, and west China, there are obvious regional differences in information infrastructure construction and the export. Therefore,it is necessary to comprehensively examine the impact of information infrastructure construction on China's export and the specific impact on middle, east and west China.According to the previous research, this thesis proves the information infrastructure's impact on the export, summarizes the scale of current information infrastructure and export of China, collects data to do the empirical research, and then gives some recommendations. This thesis sorts out relevant literature and argues that the construction of information infrastructure plays a positive role in promoting export trade from three views: the trade creation effect after the reduction of sunk costs, the reduction effect of financing costs, and the change of export structure under the effect of technological innovation. Then, based on the access to data, this thesis collects relevant data from 262 cities from 2008 to 2014,builds the information infrastructure construction index according to the relevant standards of the National Information Center, and adds another 5 controlled variables to do the empirical research. The results show that:(1)Overall,the information infrastructure construction has a positive effect on China's exports;(2)The construction of information infrastructure promotes the export of the middle China more than the eastern region, and it has no significant effect on the export of the western region. Finally, this thesis argues that more political support should be given to the information infrastructure construction, the gap between different regions of China should be shrunk, more talents in the relevant fields should be nurtured, and e-commerce's information security, law and tax system's construction should be guaranteed.
