In recent years, with the "Broadband China" strategy and the in-depth implementation of major projects in the information network,China has accelerated its supply-side structural reform and continuously upgraded the overall level and supportive capacity of its information infrastructure.Information infrastructure has become a national strategic infrastructure and a new power to the country's economic growth. In this context, first briefly analyzes the mechanism of the information infrastructure on the export spillover effect.Second,it describes the development trend and spatial pattern of China's information infrastructure and export trade.Next,we use the Spatial Durbin Model and Panel Threshold Model to analyze the spillover effect of information infrastructure on export trade and further reveal the regional characteristics of the spillover effect. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)With the gradual improvement of information infrastructure, spillovers effects between regions continue to increase.(2)The broadband infrastructure in the information infrastructure contributes most to the export trade, followed by the communications infrastructure and the postal service.(3)Owing to the natural endowments in different regions of China, the impact of information infrastructure on export trade also reflects different regional characteristics. When the economic foundation is weak, the information infrastructure has a certain inhibitory effect. To this end,the economic infrastructure must be synchronized and developed with the information infrastructure.(4)The level of economic development in all regions has a obvious positive effect on export trade, while the industrial structure shows obvious differences in different areas. The upgrading of the industrial structure in the eastern region can obviously promote the export trade, but it has a significant impediment to the western region.According to the empirical results, this paper put forward some policy advice:(1)Governments in underdeveloped regions can strengthen the level of network infrastructure construction as one of the factors of competitive production. At the same time, they may also introduce foreign capital to increase investment in infrastructure construction.(2)China,especially in the western region, must accelerate the transition to technology-intensive industries, constantly optimize the industrial structure, increase the added value of products, enhance the competitiveness of export products, and enhance export advantages.(3)China should maintain the coordinated development of infrastructure construction and economy in order to play the positive role of information infrastructure in the real economy.
