Research On Supplier Management Optimization Of GF Company

With the progress of science technology and social development,the popularity of intelligent lifestyle and the demand for intelligent service is increasing.The industry,such as intelligent transportation or intelligent highway,is developed rapidly.Therefore,a lot of enterprises turn to transform and upgrade as soon as possible to promote the development.The enterprises also hope to improve the optimal allocation of resources and re-engineer their business process,to explore the value of internal management and avoid wastage.For enterprises,supplier plays a very important role.As the value of supplier management has been underrated for a long time,the enterprises have to deal with the troubles in the development process.With the increasing awareness of supplier management,most enterprises realized that strengthen management appears to be more and more important for the long-term development.This paper takes GF company,a leader of the intelligent highway industry,as the object of the study,to analyze the problems apt to occur in the procedure of supplier management,to point out the causes and expatiate the necessary of improving supplier management.According to the problems,GF company optimizes current supplier management and rebuilds the solutions.First of all,GF company needs the talents for vendor evaluation to form a subcommittee to examine issues of vendor evaluation,establishes supplier evaluation index system and distributes the weights of each index.Secondly,it proposes to improve the inventory management status of GF company by using Internet of Things technology,which lays a foundation for effectively improving the efficiency of inventory management and getting ready for introducing VMI management mode in the future.Next,the suggestion for building a partnership model for the long-term development of mutual benefit and assistance between GF company and Suppliers.Finally,based on the optimization strategy of supplier management of GF company,this paper puts forward the safeguard measures of organization,system,resources and enterprise culture,makes an expected result of the improved supplier management of GF company,and illustrates the effect of the improvement of supplier management.This paper focuses on how to continuously improve the management of suppliers.Based on the development of research results,technology and current situation of GF company,this paper provides suggestions for the optimization of supplier management process of GF company,opens up a new way for other enterprises in the industry.To improve the awareness and to promote the operation level of supplier management,the author believes that the GF company will meet the challenges in the new era with a better development situation.
