Supply Chain Model Evaluation And Selection Of Suppliers

With the process of economic globalization, the competition between enterprises becomes more severely. To compete efficiently, more and more enterprises accept SCM(supply chain management) thoughts ,and put it into their routine operation. The essence of SCM is cooperation for competition. It is very important for enterprises to evaluate and select their strategic partners rightly, and it is the wakeness of our enterprises.The evaluation and selection for suppliers is a multiple target problem. Based on the theories of SCM and the characteristics of manufacturing enterprises, this thesis uses AHP method to establish a system of indicators and use specialist group to determine the weight of each indicator. The system of indicators consist of two parts: One is for supplier qualification and the other is for supplier rating. Using this system of indicators, we can get an integrated and dynamic evaluation report . With this report, we can make sure the correctness of supplier selection and it also provides data for supplier optimization, cultivation and development. Another advantage of this system of indicator is easy to handle. The indicator and weight can be adjusted according to acutal situation. Finally, we apply this system on SFI company to resolve its problem. The result shows this system has good performance to improve the competence of enterprises.
