Research On The Impact Of High-tech Industrial Agglomeration On Economic Growth In Beijing

Industrial agglomeration is an effective form of spatial organization,which can form a competitive advantage in the industrial cluster and improve the development of innovation,so that it can promote economic development.In recent years,the high-tech industry has developed rapidly so that it has gradually become an important factor in the balance of economic competence among countries.Compared with traditional industrial agglomeration,due to faster knowledge spilloveri high-tech industrial agglomeration can generate obvious competitive advantage,innovation effect and external effect.Because of these effects,high-tech industrial agglomeration can promote economic development more effectively.Beij ing is the earliest city to develop high-tech industry.As the leader of the high-tech industry,high-tech industry output value accounts for a high ratio of total industrial output value in Beijing.Studying the effect of high-tech industry on the economic growth of Beijing,which leads to the optimization of Beijing’s industrial structure,can play a positive role in the high-tech industry of Beijing.And the studying can promote economic growth and provide certain reference value for the development of high-tech industry in other parts of the country.Therefore,studying current situation of Beijing’s high-tech industrial agglomeration and its impact on economic growth has certain significance in practical respect and theoretical respect.The framework of research consists of the theory of high-tech industrial agglomeration at home and abroad.Through the empirical analysis,this paper researches the impact of high-tech industrial agglomeration on economic growth.Firstly,this paper reviews the theories and related researches of high-tech industrial agglomeration at home and abroad and determines the research direction.Secondly,this paper expounds the definition,distinguishing features and formation mechanisms of high-tech industrial agglomeration.Meanwhile,it clarifies the promotion effect of high-tech industrial agglomeration on economic growth from competitive advantage effect,innovation effect and external effect.Thirdly,this paper uses the static agglomeration index and dynamic agglomeration to describe the high-tech industry agglomeration in Beijing,which shows that the gathering of high-tech industry in Beijing is obvious.Fourthly,based on the economic effects mentioned above,this paper establishes an effect indicator system and empirical model.Through factor analysis and regression analysis,empirical result shows that Beijing’s high-tech industrial agglomeration can promote economic growth.Finally,based on theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,this paper offers some corresponding policy suggestions.
