In recent years, the content of rural tourism research has gradually enriched, and the perception of rural tourism research has become more and more in-depth,and the perception of residents in tourist destinations has also made certain academic achievements. This topic takes Wuyuan Jiangwan as the research object, takes distance as the only influencing factor to explore Jiangwan village in Jiangwan scenic area, and along 201 Provincial Road, chooses residents along Jiangwan Town,Zhongping Village at 2.3 kilometers and Lianhuaxin at 4.6 kilometers outside the scenic area to study the differences of residents'perception of rural tourism in all aspects, trying to explore the differences. The differences of residents'perception in rural tourism destination under distance condition are compared and analyzed with distance attenuation theory, and then feasible suggestions for sustainable development of rural tourism are put forward.Firstly, the paper discusses the concepts and theoretical basis related to the paper, obtains the population characteristics and tourism perception data of residents in four scenic spots of Jiangwan through field research, carries out reliability and validity analysis of the questionnaire, determines that the conclusion of the questiotnaire can carry out corresponding research;carries out empirical research on residents'perception differenees of different distanee case sites, and obtains residents*tourism perception evaluation.Estimate indicators, and construct research framework based on indicators, put forward research hypotheses;use principal component analysis to analyze residents'perception of economy, social culture, environment, management level and tourism attitudes at different distances in turn by common factor analysis, revise the model and hypothesis based on the results of common factor analysis;carry out Perception Analysis and perception differences in four cases respectively. Finally, the test results are analyzed, and the mechanism of residents' tourism perception differences in different distance case sites is analyzed.Based on the conclusions of the study, suggestions for the development of different cases are put forward. The conclusions of this paper include:(1)there is a big difference between residents' perception and distance attenuation;(2)residents'positive economic and social cultural perception increases first and then decreases with distance increasing;(3)residents' perception of positive environment and tourism development decreases first and then increases with distance increasing;(4)residents'perception of management level conforms to distance attenuation law with distance increasing. Finally, there are still some shortcomings in this study, which need to be improved in the later period, and more comprehensive research should be carried out, such as exploring the change of residentsfperception in different life cycle stages from a dynamic perspective;because the actual conditions are not allowed,residents1 perception is still disturbed by other factors besides distance, such as the difference of population eharacteristics, which results in eertain eonclusions of this study. In the later research, the influence still needs to be improved constantly;the sample size of the study is too small;Wuyuan has its own particularity, and the conclusions obtained have certain particularity. In order to reach a universal conclusion,it is necessary to further select different types of rural tourism destinations to carry out the research, starting from different research perspectives,so as to make the content of tourism perception research more comprehensive. It is reasonable, scientific and comprehensive research that can provide better suggestions for rural tourism development.
