Under the background of the "Belt and Road",as an important trading partner in the construction of China's "Maritime Silk Road”,Central and Eastern European countries is gradually expanding the trade volume between China. This study takes the Central and Eastern European countries as the research object, selects the trade panel data from 2007 to 2017,and studies the overall and industry situation of China and Central and Eastern European countries through competitive and complementary analysis. And empirically analyzes China with the help of stochastic frontier gravity model. The trade potential of unilateral and bilateral trade in Central and Eastern European countries. The results show that China's trade competitiveness with Central and Eastern European countries is relatively weak and complementary. In the future,China's one-way export trade potential to Central and Eastern European countries is huge.In the past two years, the bilateral trade efficiency value is on average, from the factors of trade inefficiency. It is obvious that the level of infrastructure, logistics, trade facilitation and trade freedom have a certain hindrance to the commission of trade efficiency. It is necessary to start from this perspective to further enhance trade efficiency and release trade potentialThe thesis is divided into seven chapters. The Chapterl is the introduction part, which mainly expounds the research background and research significance of the article. The Chapter2 is a literature review.Chapters 3 mainly introduces the trade development situation between China and 16 countries in Central and Eastern Europe. The Chapter4 analyzes the competitiveness and complementarity of the market and industry through the calculation of indicators. The Chapter5 is the model construction and theoretical basis, mainly expounds the theoretical connotation of the model and introduces the basis of variable selection. The Chapter6 is the empirical analysis part.It conducts empirical analysis on the export and import and export of China and 16 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, measures the impact of natural factors and human factors on trade efficiency, and finally estimates and analyzes the trade potential. The Chapter7 is the conclusion and policy recommendations. This study believes that China and the 16 countries of Central and Eastern European are in a state of weak competition and strong complementarity; The level of economic development and population of both sides have a positive impact on trade exports;China and 16 countries of Central and Eastern European efficiency is low and trade potential is huge;trade facilitation and regional economic integration are two major factors affecting trade inefficiency.
