Survey And Study On The Influencing Factors Of Farmers' Grain Loss In Wu Ling Mountain Areas

China is a big agricultural country with abundant production,but the large population with the less land determines that its per capita grain possession is relatively lower than the world average.At present,the amount of grain stored by Chinese farmers accounts for about half of the total grain output,reaching about 500 billion catties.With the development of commercial society,the phenomenon of wasting grain resources in China is becoming more and more serious,which is reflected in the purchase,processing,sale and storage of grain by farmers.The study of the influencing factors of farmers' grain storage loss has certain significant reference to reduce the loss of farmers' grain and increase the farmers' income,at the same time,it will guarantee the food security of Wuling Mountain area and even the whole country.Firstly,on the basis of systematical analysis of relevant literature at home and abroad,The basic status of grain storage in Enshi is analyzed in the four levels.the characteristics of farmers' grain storage,the present situation of farmers' grain storage losses,the variety status of farmers' grain storage and the development trend of farmers' grain storage.Secondly,through field visits and filling out questionnaires,249 rural households in Enshi Prefecture,Hubei Province,were investigated.On the basis of the questionnaire data,the household characteristics,grain storage methods and equipment,purchase subsidy and so on were analyzed,This paper discusses the loss factors of grain storage of farmers in Enshi Prefecture and puts forward the related hypotheses in combination with the investigation results from several aspects.Thirdly,based on the data obtained from the investigation,the regression analysis of the factors affecting the grain storage loss of farmers was carried out by establishing a binary Logistic model.The results show that:the education of the head of household,the installation conditions used in the storage of grain in the household,farmers think that the degree of influence of government grain policy and the intensity of subsidy measures,the possibility of food crisis in the future and the purchase subsidy policy given by the government to farmers to store grain equipment have a significant impact on the loss of grain storage.However,the gender and age of farmers had little effect on the loss of grain storageFinally,according to the results of the above empirical analysis,from the perspective of farmers,government and state,putting forward some countermeasures and suggestions to reduce farmers' grain loss,and ultimately promoting the increase of farmers' grain income in Enshi.
