Research On The Relation Between Urbanization And Agricultural Production Efficiency In Three Northeast Provinces

With the gradual advance of urbanization and rural revitalization strategy,the important role of improving agricultural production efficiency is increasingly being paid attention to by relevant departments and academic circles.Based on this background,this paper systematically analyzes the relationship between urbanization and agricultural production efficiency.It is of great reference value to formulate relevant policies aimed at promoting the coordinated development of urbanization and agricultural modernization,the revitalization of northeast China and China’s regional development.By combing the connotation of urbanization and agricultural production efficiency,and analyzes relevant literatures of domestic and foreign theoretical and empirical studies on the relationship between urbanization and agricultural production efficiency.It summarizes the mechanism of action between urbanization and agricultural production efficiency.Then,the entropy method and DEA-Malmquist index are used to measure and analyze the level of urbanization and agricultural production efficiency.On this basis,coupling coordination degree model is further used to analyze the static relationship between urbanization and agricultural production efficiency.Finally,panel VAR model,impulse response and variance decomposition are used to analyze the long-term dynamic relationship between urbanization and agricultural production efficiency of the three northeastern provinces.The results show that the urbanization level of the prefecture-level cities in the three northeastern provinces shows obvious regional differences.Agricultural production efficiency is rising steadily,while the coordination between urbanization and agricultural production efficiency is low and slow.On the whole,it is in the stage of coordination,but the level of coordination is close to the primary stage.There is a dynamic relationship between urbanization and agricultural production efficiency in northeast China.In the short term,urbanization has a certain inhibitory effect on agricultural production efficiency,and there is a promoting effect between the two in the long term.This paper puts forward three suggestions according to the conclusion: first,we will improve the comprehensive development level of urbanization,and create demand conditions,technical conditions and moderately large-scale operations to improve agricultural production efficiency.Second,we will continue to raise the efficiency of agricultural production,increase input in agricultural science and technology,improve the system of innovation in agricultural science and technology,give full play to the leading role of new agricultural business entities in agricultural production and operation organizations,and promote the integrated development of primary,secondary and tertiary industries.Third,we will promote the coordinated development of agriculture modernization and urbanization,give full play to the role interactive of agricultural production and urbanization,coordinate and control the flow of factors between urban and rural areas.
