Since the 21st century, trade in services has been developing rapidly all over the world. At the same time, with the development of information technology, the basic pattern of Global trade in services is constantly changing.New services such as telecommunications, computer and information services, communication services and royalties will become new growth points of future trade in services. The Group of Twenty(G20)is composed of 20 major countries in the world. Its members are wide-ranging and representative. The 2016 G20 Summit of Leaders was successfully held in Hangzhou,China. The "G20 Global Trade Growth Strategy" adopted at the Summit pointed out the direction for promoting sustainable development of Global trade and economy, and proposed that the development of trade in services is an important way to increase trade growth. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the competitiveness and influencing factors of telecommunications, computer and information services trade in G20 for enhancing the international competitiveness of China's service trade. This paper first reviews the classical literature in this field, defines the basic concepts of telecommunications, computer and information services trade, international trade competitiveness and so on.Then, using the import and export data of telecommunications, computer and information services trade of G20 countries(regions)in UNCTAD database from 2005 to 2017 and calculating the International Market Share(MS)index, trade competitive power(TC)index and revealed comparative advantage(RCA)index. The results show that the overall trade in telecommunications, computer and information services in the G20 is huge, but the development among countries is unbalanced.India has a strong international competitiveness in this industry, while China's indicators are rising, but there is still a significant gap compared with India, and its international competitiveness is still relatively weak.Next, using panel data of G20 countries from 2005 to 2017,this paper chooses MS index,TC index and RCA index of telecommunications, computer and information services trade as explanatory variables, and based on Porter's "Diamond Model" theory, takes the enrollment rate of universities,R&D expenditure, public education expenditure, intellectual property fee,Internet penetration rate and income as the main explanatory variables.Explaining the variables, taking the proportion of exports of goods trade, telecommunications and other services in service trade and the openness of service trade as control variables, this paper makes an empirical analysis. The results show that for a country, knowledge resources are the main influencing factors, while human resources are the secondary influencing factors for its international competitiveness of telecommunications, computer and information services trade. Then, the G20 is divided into two groups:developed countries(regions)and developing countries.MS index and RCA index are used as explanatory variables to analyze the differences between the two groups in the impact of the above main explanatory variables on the international competitiveness of one country's telecommunications, computer and information services tradeFinally, based on the conclusions of empirical analysis, the following three suggestions are put forward to enhance the international competitiveness of China's telecommunications, computer and information services trade:increasing investment in R&D,protecting intellectual property rights;increasing investment in education, training professionals;and learning from other countries' advanced experience.
