Research On The Improvement For Demand Forecasting And Production Planning For Harness Products Of Company B

The wire and cable manufacturing enterprises located in the upstream of household appliances enterprises are in a weak position in the supply chain.How to reduce the operation cost and improve the operation efficiency under the mode of complex and changeable demand and multi-point distribution and delivery is very important.Aiming at the problems existing in the demand forecasting and production planning of the harness products of Company B,this paper deeply studies the demand forecasting and production planning improvement scheme suitable for the harness products of Company B.Firstly,the paper expounds the current situation of demand forecasting and production planning management of company B,and deeply analyses the problems and causes of demand forecasting and production planning management of company B.Secondly,the paper puts forward the basic idea of improving the demand forecasting method and production planning system of harness products,including the demand forecasting and effect verification based on the historical and actual demand data of harness products of Company B,using the time series quantitative method,confirming that the seasonal index smoothing method is the basic method of demand forecasting of harness products of Company B,and the basis of revising demand forecasting,the production plan of harness products of Company B is optimized.Finally,the implementation effect of demand forecasting and production planning improvement scheme is evaluated from the aspects of accuracy of demand forecasting,inventory cost,production efficiency and logistics cost.Based on the theoretical knowledge of supply chain management and the management status of harness products of Company B,this paper puts forward the improvement scheme of demand forecasting and production planning,which has certain reference significance for similar enterprises in the same industry to improve operational efficiency and establish competitive advantage of supply chain.
