Research On The Integration Mechanism Of Domestic And International Innovation Resources Of Chinese Multinational Enterprises From The Perspective Of Resource Orchestration Theory

Building a new double-cycle development pattern requires China to make full use of both domestic and international markets and resources to achieve high-quality,innovation-driven economic development.Chinese multinational companies in the domestic market and international market at the same time as the operation of the market main body,in the prompt resources(especially)of innovation resources in domestic and international double loop flow plays an important role.On the one hand,Chinese multinational enterprises have been cultivating the domestic market for a long time and making full use of domestic innovation resources to carry out innovation activities,which helps to smooth the cycle of domestic innovation resources.On the other hand,Chinese multinational enterprises actively acquire international innovation resources through foreign direct investment and overseas research and development strategies,and effectively integrate overseas innovation resources with domestic resources,enabling the great cycle of domestic economy.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to explore how Chinese multinationals can effectively integrate domestic and international innovation resources under the background of double cycle.This paper attempts to explore the internal mechanism of Chinese multinational enterprises’ integration of domestic and international innovation resources under the background of double cycle from the perspective of resource orchestration.On the basis of systematically combing the literature related to the innovation resource integration and resource orchestration theory of Chinese multinational enterprises,taking Geely,Huawei,Haier,and Joyson as the research object of domestic and international two-way resource utilization,the exploratory multi-case study method is adopted to explore the integration mechanism of domestic and international innovation resources of Chinese multinational enterprises.The results show that:(1)The internal mechanism for Chinese multinational enterprises to integrate domestic and international innovation resources includes the acquisition mechanism of domestic and international innovation resources,resource reorganization mechanism and resource utilization mechanism.(2)In the mechanism of innovation resource acquisition,Chinese multinational enterprises acquire different types of innovation resources in domestic and foreign markets through different ways;because of the high hidden nature of innovation resources,enterprises need to build innovation networks at home and abroad to establish connections with technological innovation subjects.In the mechanism of innovation resources reorganization,Chinese multinational enterprises reorganize domestic and foreign innovation resources from shallow to deep in different forms according to their position in the stage of technological catch-up,including three aspects: complementary innovation resource reorganization and similarity innovation resource reorganization and domestic and foreign reverse innovation resource reorganization.In the mechanism of innovation resource utilization,Chinese multinational enterprises self-absorb the integrated innovation resources,and go through a process from resource reorganization to innovation capability improvement and then to innovation output.(3)Chinese multinationals actively participate in and integrate into the global innovation network,and effectively integrate,allocate and utilize domestic and foreign innovation resources on a global scale,which can help enterprises improve their innovation capacity,accelerate the transformation of their innovation achievements,and even realize the overall upgrading of the industry.On the basis of the above research findings,this paper constructs a theoretical model of the integration mechanism of domestic and international innovation resources of Chinese multinationals.The theoretical contribution of this paper is to examine the integration mechanism of domestic and international innovation resources by Chinese multinational enterprises,which makes up for the deficiency of existing researches focusing on the acquisition and integration of international innovation resources.Especially in the context of the new development pattern of double cycle,Chinese multinational enterprises cannot "isolate" domestic or overseas innovation resources,but need to effectively integrate the two resources and give full play to the complementary advantages of the two resources.In order to get through the docking channel of domestic and international circulation,to achieve balanced development.Secondly,according to the theory of resource orchestration,this paper discusses the micro-mechanism of Chinese multinational enterprises integrating domestic and foreign innovation resources from the micro level,and identifies the mechanism of acquisition,reorganization and utilization of innovation resources,which is conducive to enriching the research related to the integration of enterprise innovation resources.From the perspective of practical significance,this paper describes the whole mechanism of domestic and international innovation resource integration of Chinese multinational enterprises,which can provide inspiration for other Chinese multinational enterprises.
