Storage optimization is the main way to solve the irrational layout of cargo spaces,and it is the key to effective and efficient location management.It is also an integral part of warehouse management.The cargo space optimization refers to the secondary distribution of the original cargo space by analyzing the characteristics of the cargo itself and the surrounding environment and using the theoretical knowledge and technical methods related to the location optimization on the basis of the original cargo space layout to achieve the purpose of improving the efficiency of storage and storage and reducing costs.How to effectively realize the location optimization?This requires an in-depth understanding and analysis of the cargo and location.P company is the first Chinese aviation manufacturing joint venture established by Pratt&Whitney under UTC and Chengdu Engine Group and China Aviation Group.which mainly manufactures parts civil aviation engines and gas engine,such as combustion chambers,aircraft system accessories,etc.Faced with many types of parts and components,rational storage of raw materials is the basis for the smooth manufacture of engine gas engine parts,and how to quickly provide the production department with materials is an important issue that P company needs to face.Based on this,this paper uses the literature retrieval method,field method,mathematical model method and computer simulation method,takes the P company's cargo storage as the research object,and uses techniques of cargo storage strategy and principles of location optimization as the theoretical basis to solve the problem of storage assignment in P company.Follow by,his paper models the non-metal sheet material storage area of P company,uses genetic algorithm to carry out Matlab calculation and solution,and provides optimization suggestions and solutions for the problems existing in the storage of P company.The research contents are as follows:(1)A summary of the research results at home and abroad for cargo space optimization.Domestic scholars mainly studied the optimization of cargo spaces based on the principles of location optimization based on cargo turnover rate,the optimization of location from the principle of relevancy-based location optimization,and other aspects such as energy consumption.Foreign scholars conducted research on three aspects:analysis of storage strategies for storage locations,optimization of automated warehouse locations,and application of location optimization software.(2)Research on the location optimization modeling for the problems of P company cargo storage.It analysises of the current P company warehousing problems-irrational layout of goods;And proposes an optimization model based on the optimization of the shortest picking time based on the turnover rate,identity optimization principles,and the shortest time for the optimization of the storage space as the objective function.(3)Research on Algorithm Selection and Evaluation of Calculation Results for Location Optimization Model.By comparing annealing simulation algorithm,particle swarm optimization algorithm and genetic algorithm,a calculation algorithm based on genetic algorithm as the cargo location optimization model is proposed,and use Matlab for Model Calculation;then it evaluates the calculation results of the location optimization model and proposes an optimization plan and proposal.(4)Research on Optimization of the Storage Problem of P Company under the Optimization of Storage Space.After presenting the cargo space optimization plan,it elaborated on the specific optimization of the P company's warehousing problem.The innovation of this article is to consider the time of slotting optimization handling time which most of the scholars have not considered.To sum up,this paper focuses on storage's layout problem in P company from many aspects to research P company's cargo storage location optimization,and puts forward suggestion of the cargo position optimization;On the other hand,the research and methods also provide reference for solving similar problems.
