An Application Research On Lean Thinking In R&D Project Management Of ST Company

With the rapid development of science and technology in every field of the world,the global economy has been developing rapidly.Every enterprise is faced with huge competitive pressure,which requires enterprises to improve the R&D level of new products,accelerate the promotion process of new products and shorten the development cycle.As an advanced management work,project management has been proved to be an efficient management mode by all the major enterprises in the world.The enterprise establishes the R&D project management for its own production mode,which can effectively promote the R&D efficiency and R&D quality of new products,optimize the allocation of resources,and greatly improve the success rate of new products.And at the same time,lean thinking has been proven to be the most mainstream management method since the 21 st century because it can significantly improve production efficiency,so in order to improve the existing R&D project management of ST company according to lean thinking method,this paper mainly studied the application of lean thinking in the R&D project management.In this paper,using the case research method,literature research method and investigation method,ST's R&D project management as the research object,with the guidance of theory of the project management and lean thinking,combined with the author's work experience,it analyzed the problems during the process of new product development.In this paper,through drawing value stream mapping,found that he main factors for hindering R&D process were information flow,plan/process and HR.The author put forward lean improvement according to the theory of lean thinking,and apply the improved scheme to a product's actual development process,so as to realize the purpose of R&D lean.In this paper,the research on the lean improvement of R&D project management has also provided some improvement experience for small and medium-sized enterprises in China.
