During the period of the 13th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development of the People's Republic of China and under the background of supply-side structural reform,with the booming development of our country's economy,the supermarket industry is in the period of strategic opportunity.Not only add vigor for supermarket industry,but also bring about numerous severe challenge in the meantime.Although commercial activities of supermarket industry exist fierce competition,the market is in great demand.Facing the high-speed development of market and economic,especially today in the popularization of the Internet and e-commerce,starting from the enterprise development strategy,promoting enterprise's core competitiveness,and succession from the competition are significant issues of retailing industry.To understand present development status and tendency of chain supermarkets in China,facing difficulties and crisis,as well as the chain supermarket industry's strategic positioning,business performance and financial position and so forth,in view of less articles relating financial analysis research of the chain supermarket,this article selects Yong Hui Supermarket as a case which high-profile in the development of retail industry,adopt the Harvard Analysis Framework which the innovate research method,and analysis financial competitiveness of this supermarket in terms of strategy.In the first place,this article introduces the difference between the Harvard Analysis Framework and traditional financial analysis method and the advantage,and points out that Harvard Analysis Framework is not merely index analysis,but also an implement comprehensive analysis' tool which effective and all-round analyze financial position,operating results and the prospect.Second,state that the relevant theories of Harvard Analysis Framework,basic logic,analysis dimensions,at the same time the present development status and characteristics of chain supermarket is discussed.Last but not least,taking Yong Hui Supermarket for example,adopting the Harvard Analysis Framework is to comprehensive analysis.After introducing development and operating management situation of Yong Hui Supermarket,this article analyzes in detail four dimensions about strategy,accounting,financial management,and prospect respectively,and indicates that the Yong Hui Supermarket still maintains a strong development momentum and owns a grander prospect in overall development.However,Yong Hui Supermarket also exists some problems,such as increasingly competition pressure,high cost or great deficits resulting from expanded rapidly,large proportion of inventory and fixed assets,a sharp drop in sales income level and asset turnover,gradually slowed in enterprise's growth ability,long-term prepaid expenses and fixed number of year in doubt.Based on the analysis of existing problems,this article points out that the risk existing in the development of Yong Hui Supermarket and unstable factors,and puts forward the corresponding improved countermeasures.In conclusion,this article also forecast.and prospect for future development of Yong Hui Supermarket in the meantime.These countermeasures and Suggestions for Yong Hui Supermarket and other enterprise in chain supermarket industry has a certain reference significance and practical reference value.
