Research On Adaptive Aging Design Of Smart TV Software And Hardware Interface Based On Attention Capture

With the aggravation of the aging population structure in our country,the old-age problem of the elderly has gradually become an important problem to be solved in the family and society.Nowadays,TV has become the core part of family life and entertainment for the elderly.However,with the influx of intelligent TV into more and more families,its design trend is becoming more and more technical,functional and younger,while ignoring the cognitive and learning abilities of the elderly,so that the elderly need to face complex information interfaces and learning abilities.Interaction and degradation of physiological and cognitive abilities make it impossible for them to access these intelligent products.Based on the theory of Attention Capture,this paper studies the physiological function and cognitive characteristics of elderly users,and the lack of experience in the process of using smart TV through literature review and user research,.The design elements(layout,location,focus and symbolic semantics)of the software and hardware interface are extracted for experimental design.Obtain the basic situation of the elderly users' attention capture.Thus,the design principles of the software-hardware interface of smart TV are summarized from the frame layer and the performance layer,and the corresponding design is carried out according to these principles.Through the evaluation of the design results,the feasibility of the design principles is illustrated.
