With telecommunications networks, radio networks and Internet of Things soon "triple play" of the times, and based on the promotion of the rapid development of information technology, television is no longer a simple machine only watch TV features, but gradually intelligent and increasingly close to essential life companion inner needs of every household. In this new trend, "intelligent" interaction design smart TV also ushered in new challenges and opportunities.Currently Smart TV by the majority of the user’s attention, the smart TV is generally considered to be an upgraded version of Internet TV, with intelligent operating system. In addition to the ordinary user can enjoy the audio-visual programs,but also the TV to access the Internet, installed on a smart TV and unloading they need intelligent application software, continue to expand and upgrade the TV function,enjoy the convenience of the Internet age. But precisely because the focus of the current business smart TV are gathered to study how the intelligence to maximize the smart TV, therefore, the production of smart TV market caused more and more powerful, the interface is more abundant, but in fact these functions only just be able to give young people familiar with network applications bring convenience, but largely ignored the real long-term use can be sitting at home watching TV feel older age groups. It is precisely because major businesses facing television innovation bottleneck, and for the design of intelligent television, interactive experience good understanding of the user community is crucial in this process, smart TV business is different from previous studies in accordance with the target user’s location, to find the interaction design principles of market development, establish their own advantage in the field of intelligent television, in order to cope with future competition more fierce and cruel.First, the author describes the purpose of the subject and significance of background research, and research;and secondly, through literature research and analysis of intelligent interactive television experience with the status quo and the elderly Smart TV related content, then combine cognitive physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly population will be a preliminary analysis,to find the elderly and interaction design intelligent and smart TV links; furthermore,the use of a questionnaire survey, field observation and a series of "user-centric" research methodology, users of the older age groups were analyzed and summarized the design needs of older users, and further proposed for the elderly population of Smart TV interactive design principles; finally guide the design practice. We hope to help eliminate the use of the current elderly population psychological barriers intelligent products and promote the value of the current smart TV products sublimation.
