Discourse Analysis Of News Comments On Sexual Abuse Of Children In Important Domestic Newspapers

In the context of the era of social transformation,The sexual assault of children is becoming more acute.It is the responsibility of the news media,as social watchdogs,to report on incidents of sexual assault against children.In order to guide public opinion to distinguish between wrong and right,deeply explore social issues,monitor the social environment.Focus on the CPC Central Committee organ "People's Daily",pay attention to the women's newspaper "China Women's newspaper",the legal newspaper The People's Daily","the" procuratorial daily ",and the" China Youth Daily ",which focuses on the growth of youth,and the China Education newspaper,published news reviews,totally 7 traditional mainstream newspapers.Discuss news reviews issued by mainstream newspapers on targeted child incidents,and discusses the characteristics of the discourse mode of news commentary on sexual assault of children in important newspapers in China,what discourse context is constructed,what changes are made and the reasons for the change?This paper mainly applies the content analysis method and the comparative analysis method.Based on the theory of discourse analysis put forward by two scholars of Teun A Van Dijk and Norman Fairclough,and analyzes the news comments on the incidents of sexual assault of children in important newspapers in China from two aspects of text and context.Through the analysis and interpretation of the text of the 7 newspaper news commentary,such as vocabulary,sentence pattern,rhetorical technique,argumentation method,and the construction of social context,it is found that:First,at the text level,Important domestic newspapers try to spread the idea of social democracy.In vocabulary it emphasis on the responsibility of family schools.Use imperative sentences to express opinions in sentence patterns and put forward confusing expressions with interrogative sentences.In the rhetorical technique,more metaphorical sentences are used to comment on enhancing the vivid distinct of the article.Moderate citation of legal regulations reflects calm,objective rationality.Also use a small amount of personification to enhance the freshness of the article.On the other hand,in the discussion of news commentary,we mainly resort to logic for objective rational reasoning analysis.And make emotional demands to resonate with the audience.Also use data to enhance the persuasion of the article with caution.Second,at the contextual level,this paper mainly analyzes the different discourse patterns of important domestic newspapers in the event of specific sexual aggression against children.The study found that the news commentary of important newspapers in China is dominated by the discourse of knowledge elite and mainly use professional perspective depth analysis.In addition,the use of mass daily discourse close to the mass life scene to increase the emotional temperature,and cross-use the discourse of State power and the discourse of intellectual elite in the discussion.Advocating the use of national power to construct a society ruled by law to protect children's healthy growth.Discuss in the press commentary the problems of the practice of persons with a history of restricted assault,the protection of Children's power criminal law,and compensation for mental damage of children,seeking to build the rule of law would increase the protection of children into national action.Third,at the level of discourse change,2000-2018 The discourse of news comments on sexual assault of children in major newspaper media in China went through the early stages of the review,the period of comment concentration,and the review of the hotly debated period.Its news commentary discourse has also experienced from facing up to the sexual assault of children,mainly the daily discourse of the masses.Emphasize the responsibility of education guardianship,such as family and school,have the sense of distress,to change to the perspective of knowledge elite,from the judicial,social environment and other perspectives on the practical issues of the protection of children in the community,the perspective of professional rationality,and then change into an open perspective for multi-angle discussion.2000-2018 The discourse change of news commentary on sexual assault of children in domestic newspaper media has many reasons,among which the change of social environment background,the change of news communication concept and the enhancement of audience consciousness are the main reasons.At first,the news media from the only handling of government policy decisions,state leadership rhetoric to the law of news dissemination to the news media began to independently choose news events to report,to the new media era in the environment,the community's sense of participation,independent choice is increasing,the discussion of sexual assault on children has more meta-voice.But at the same time,the news media in the context of information
