Research On Application Problems And Countermeasures Of Y Company Management Information System

With the development of Internet technology,big data,artificial intelligence and knowledge economy,enterprise management is undergoing profound changes,enterprises are using management information systems to promote management efficiency.Y company is a large third-party petrochemical storage enterprise along the Yangtze River,which mainly provides storage and transfer services for all kinds of liquid petrochemical products.Y company started to apply management information system at the beginning of its establishment.The application of management information system has gone through three stages:full implementation,software and hardware upgrading,and full integration,and invested a lot of money,but it did not bring the expected effect.Based on the practical problems existing in the application of management information system in Y company,this paper uses T-O-E(technology organization environment)logical framework and Strategic Alignment Model to study the application of management information system in Y company.First of all,through the design of questionnaires and interviews,analyze and find out the problems of Y company in the application of management information system at the organizational,technology,environment and personal.Then,in view of the above problems,we make a practical optimization strategy and safeguard measures.Finally,it is concluded that in order to succeed in the application of management information,Y company needs to pay attention to and do the following work.First,at the organizational aspect,it needs good resource allocation,the absolute support of managers and good internal communication.Solving the allocation of human,financial and material resources and building a good internal communication environment are the core factors for the successful application of management information system.Second,at the technical aspect,we need to pay attention to system compatibility and technical applicability.Compatibility and technical applicability are important factors that affect the application effect of management information system.Employees'acceptance of information system depends on the matching of work tasks and management information system.Thirdly,in the aspect of environment,we need to strengthen the sense of competition and obtain the support of the government,stimulate the willingness to apply the management information system by strengthening the sense of competition,and make the application of the management information system onto the fast lane by the guidance of the government's policies.Fourth,at the personal aspect,it is necessary to integrate performance appraisal and improve the enthusiasm of employees' application system,encourage outstanding contributors of outstanding system application at the spiritual and material levels,implement differentiated incentive,and improve the enthusiasm of employees' application.Through the research of this paper,we should provide guidance for the optimization of management information system currently used by Y Company,and also provide reference and guidance for other petrochemical storage enterprises.
