Communication technology plays an important role in modern military construction.The real time and accuracy of network communication play a key role in the war:Radio is a commonly used communication equipment in our army.Radio detection equipment mostly detects radio sensitivity and so on.There are few tests on the performance indicators of radio communication networks.These indexes can describe the radio communication network more intuitively,and can provide the basis for the relevant personnel to adjust the networking strategy.Therefore,this paper designs and realizes the network performance measurement system for communication radio based on ARM.The monitoring center will test the indexes of each terminal node.In this paper,the requirements and architecture of the system are analyzed.The network performance index system are defined.The network indexes include latency,frame loss rate,throughput and back-to-back.It also provides GPS location and network topology for auxiliary analysis.Then the scheme is designed,and on this basis,the hardware design and software design of the system are carried out.The test device is mainly controlled by LPC2378,including power module,GPS clock synchronization module,RS-232 module,RS-485 module,USB module,CAN bus module and Ethernet module.On the hardware,the selection of the chip,the drawing of the schematic diagram and the design of PCB are completed.The device software has completed the underlying driver and application layer program design.The monitoring center and test terminal software are designed,which have the functions of command distribution,chart display of measurement results,database storage and so on.In outdoor conditions,test environment is set up.The test results show that the results are correct and meet the functions and requirements of the system.It provides a feasible scheme for testing the performance index of communication radio network.
