In recent years,reality show introduced from abroad have been highly praised by major TV stations.At present,China's TV screen has completely become a gathering place for reality shows.It has created a large number of hot stars and hot topics.The TV media has been guided by the high popularity and high income of the reality show,and the audience has also been included in the entertainment and leisure of the reality show.The factors are attracted,and the scope of its influence gradually extends to the level of social culture,showing the typical phenomenon of media spectacle.The concept of "the spectacle" originated from the 2001 in the 1960s,said Guy Debord."In the society where modern society produces conditions,life itself is manifested as a huge heap of landscapes." Later,American scholar Douglas Kellner on the basis of the"landscape",put forward the concept of "media spectacle".He believes that "media spectacle" reveals a certain characteristic and development trend in contemporary society-spectacle,not only meets the cultural characteristics of contemporary Chinese society,but also meets the needs of the audience for culture and entertainment in the consumer society.As a type of TV program,the reality show is also affected by this spectacle.reality show has landed in China since 2000,Guangdong Satellite TV launched its first reality show Survival Challenge in June 2000,and the show Super Girl in 2004 was launched in the era of a TV "draft" in 2013.The show Where is Dad Going,which has set off a watching frenzy,is the era of a TV "reality show".As the name of"reality show",that is,"real people" in the "show","people" is the main body of the reality show.The characters in the show,especially the stars,occupy the hot topic list of print media,online media and social media with the popularity of the show.It can be said that the reality show creates a wonder world for the shaping,production and consumption of characters.Based on the spectacle theory,this paper conducts a specific study on the characters in the reality show through literature research,text analysis,case analysis and inductive summarization.The introduction part summarizes the literature along the logical sequence of the TV personality show,the research about "People" in the reality show,and the research of the characters'wonders,and summarizes the problems that this article will solve.The first chapter summarizes the characters and their types appearing in the reality show,analyzing how the program is set up;Chapters 2 and 3 analyze the spectacle characteristics of the characters in the reality show,and analyze the construction of the spectacle;the fourth chapter from the perspective of the audience,summarizing the phenomena of the characters satisfies the psychological needs of the audience,mainly reflected in the peep of the perfect body,desire of star's fantasy life,subjective fantasy and mimicry participation;finally,the affirmation of the character will inevitably become a spectacle phenomenon,and analyze this phenomenon the impact and reflection on how the reality show will drive the spectacle in a good direction.
