As an important part of the millimeter wave system,the receiving system directly affects the performance of the whole millimeter wave system.Therefore,the research of the receiving system is of great significance.In recent years,with the rise and development of the microwave monolithic integrated circuit(MMIC,Microwave Monolithic Integrated Circuit)technology and microwave multi-chip module(MMCM Microwave,Multi-Chip Module)technology,the connection performance between the bare chip in the system gradually improved,has also been a significant improvement in the package level.Therefore,this paper designs a V band integrated dual channel receiving system based on MMIC and MMCM technology.Firstly,through the research of domestic and foreign literature,in this paper,the dynamic development of transceiver module are described,on this basis,combining with indicator requirements,an integrated dual channel receiver system with frequency band of 61 GHz?63GHz is designed,including the design of the RF channel,mixer circuit and local oscillator link.Secondly,the passive devices in the dual channel receiving system are designed.In order to realize the miniaturized structure,the planar passive devices are used,this paper designs two waveguide to microstrip structures:waveguide to finline to microstrip transition structure and waveguide to probe to microstrip transition structure,and insertion loss measured of the two transition structure is less than 0.6dB,the return loss is less than-12dB.For the selection and filtering of RF channels,a four order filter based SIW is designed.The insertion loss is less than 4dB and the return loss is less than-10dB.A hairpin microstrip filter is designed for suppression of harmonics in the local oscillator.After testing,the insertion loss in the 28GHz-31GHz frequency range is less than 4dB,and the return loss is less than-12dB.At the same time,this paper designs two SIW power divider,the T type SIW power divider without considering the isolation,the use of metal vias for inductive pin to eliminate capacitive electric resistance in T junction.After the the simulation test,the insertion loss of the power divider is less than 5dB in passband,the return loss is less than-12dB;and the Y type power divider must consider the isolation between the two output ports,so a small groove is arranged in the middle position,and reverse welding thin film resistance at the small groove,after testing,the insertion loss of the divider in the passband is less than 5.5dB,the return loss is less than-11dB.Finally,ADS is used to simulate the whole V band integrated dual channel receiving system,and MMIC and MMCM are used to realize the miniaturization of the whole dual channel receiving system,the size of the whole dual channel receiving system is 72.69mm x 48.35mm×20mm.By testing the performance of the V band integrated dual channel receiving system,it is concluded that the noise figure is less than 4.5dB,the gain is about 32dB,and the input standing wave is less than 2.1:1 when the IF output frequency is from 3GHz to 5GHz.
